I’m Jenny Dabbs

This photo was taken at Thanksgiving in 2016. My young daughter and son, my goofy niece and nephew. And my mother, Karen. It’s a moment I return to often. Before illness reshaped our family, before decisions became urgent and before I fully understood how deeply housing, health and family are connected.

Family, Perspective and Why This Work Matters

That photo represents a season of life that felt steady and full. Not long after, my family began navigating illness, aging and housing decisions for my parents. Like many families, we were doing our best without a clear playbook, trying to balance independence, safety, finances and emotion all at once.

Those experiences changed how I see homes and the decisions tied to them. They taught me that real estate is rarely just transactional. It’s personal. It’s layered. And it often comes at moments when people want clarity, not pressure.

That perspective shapes how I work today. I take the time to listen, to slow the process when needed and to help people think clearly whether a move feels simple or complex. My goal is always the same: informed decisions that respect both the present moment and what comes next.

Experience, Community and a Long View

I bring almost two decades of real estate experience to my clients, working with buyers and sellers across Charlotte, Cabarrus County and surrounding communities. From first homes to long-held family properties, I focus on practical strategy, local knowledge and thoughtful guidance grounded in real-world experience.

Community has always been central to my life and work. I’ve served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia, past PTCO President at Coltrane-Webb Elementary School and a past board member of Coltrane Life Center and Friends of the Library. I’m currently a board member and Safety Chair for the Cabarrus County Boys & Girls Club, a member of the Concord High School Athletics Boosters and a member of Residents of Historic Concord.

These roles reflect how I show up professionally as well: committed, steady and invested in the long term. I believe strong communities are built through care, participation and trust - values I bring to every client relationship.

Get started with Jenny, today.
